I have openoffice 641 (I believe 641b...but how do I verify this?) - when I have a document, go to tools, spellcheck and spellcheck again I get 
an alert message that says "An unrecoverable error has occured. All modified files have been saved and can probably be recovered at startup 
time". I am running on Windows 2000 - using Sun's JRE. The software is installed on a network if any of this has any bearing.

Let me correct one thing - it is build 641C and not 641D.

I have since downloaded 641D and the problem has gone away.

This task is fixed or worked in OOo 1.1 beta2.
