First Time:
* Opened an MS Word doc & saved it as Open Office format.
* Did some editing.
* Opened a screen capture in Paint (previously saved as 16 colour bitmap)
  & selected & copied part of the bitmap.
* Pasted the pic into the OO text document.
* Changed the alignment of the pic to Left.
* Shrunk the pic using the mouse to drag it to the desired size.
* Did more editing.
* Attempted to save & the program froze.
* Used Ctl-Alt-Del to kill the word processor, & restarted the PC (shut down,
  turned it off & on).
* Attempted to open the doc & the word processor froze again (the picture was
  missing; just an empty space).


Second Time
* Opened the original MS Word doc in OO, copied the contents & pasted into
  a new OO document.
* Did some editing.
* Did a save-as to have a spare copy.
* Pasted the pic as above.
* Changed the alignment of the pic to Left.
* Shrunk the pic using the mouse to drag it to the desired size.
* Saved the document & closed it.
* Attempted to open it again, upon which the program froze & had to be
  killed with C-A-D.


Third Time (this worked ok)
* Used Paint to cut out the piece of the screen capture that I needed, & saved
  this as a separate file.
* Deleted the OO doc that caused the freeze.
* Opened the spare copy of the doc & did another save-as to provide a spare.
* Inserted the picture created above (Insert > Graphics > From file).
* Changed the alignment of the pic to Left.
* Shrunk the pic using the mouse to drag it to the desired size.
* Saved the document & closed it.
* Opened the doc again & this time it was ok.
