Description marc.neumann 2004-10-27 12:26:05 UTC
1. open a new xform
2. open the datanavigator
3. rename the existing instance to "a"
4. insert a new instance with the instance button
5. in the add instance dialog don't insert a name and click ok
==>> you get a new instance with the name "a1". Here I suggest to display a
warning that an empty name is not allowed.
6. close and reopen the datanavigator
==>> there is now an instance and an instance1
Comment 1 openoffice 2004-12-17 14:00:57 UTC
dvo: The behaviour was changed with other bugfixes. Currently, the instance
receives an automatic name ('untitled 13' in my case), and everything else works
as it should. In particular, the instance is always displayed with its proper
name. Opening/closing the DataNavigator to get the actual instance names is no
longer necessary.

One can debate the appropriateness of the chosen name, but at least the issue
as-is no longer occurs. I'll mark this as fixed (not duplicate), so it goes
through QA.
Comment 2 openoffice 2005-01-20 18:53:46 UTC
reopen for QA
Comment 3 openoffice 2005-01-20 18:54:18 UTC
reassign to QA
Comment 4 openoffice 2005-01-20 18:55:11 UTC

Comment 5 marc.neumann 2005-03-11 08:38:06 UTC
verified in cws eforms4.

Now the behaviour is like dvo explain.
