As far as I remember I got the same Error with the 680m54 installation before.
I installed 680m56 on Windows2000 and after approx. 90% of the installation was
finished a pop-up came up with this dialog:

Error while Installing OOo

Error 1904.Module C:\Programme\OpenOffice.org
1.9.56\programs\shlxthdl.dll failed to register. 
HRESULT -2147024770. Contact your support 
personnel..

Abort	        Retry	           Ignore

I tried it with the "Retry" Button, but didn't helped. Than I pressed "Ignore"
and the installation proceded as normal and also after that I didn't got any Error.
