if the change recording option ( Edit->changes->record) is on and the Show
option is off, delete or removal of text imples very slow.

in the current situation the document is appr. 30pages long (mostly text).
to delete one charachter takes almost a second.
i do remove old change history by using Accept/Reject, but even if the history
is almost empty delets perform slowly.

it seems like the problem gets worse when the file grows.

MRU->DVO: it is the same as internal task 94791. We can use the bugdoc there to
evaluate this issue. Maybe we can close 94791 as duplicate then.
