Description mpitt 2004-10-18 11:47:51 UTC
Attemps to open "Tools: Bibliography database" from within Writer results in a
program exit without warning or saving the current document. It dies with
"SIGILL, Illegal instruction". Unable to provide a stack trace, the stack is
corrupted.

This is not reproducible on i386, but it was reproduced on at least three
powerpc machines.

BTW, the particular OOo version we tested this on is 1.1.2 (but I did not find
that in the list).

Please try OOo 1.1.3
Did you send a crash report?

Sorry, this is Debian bug 216848

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=216848

It has been already shown that this problem is only in the Debian packages. It
is probably due to one of the extra patches in the packages, and is not present
in the vanilla OOo install sets, so resolving here as INVALID
