Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 35456
PPT-style "Integrated Outline" view
Last modified: 2014-04-23 08:01:43 UTC
PPT now has the "integrated outline view" standard, where there is an outline view to the left of the current slide. This is a very handy feature, and I don't see an equivalent in OOo. Yes, there is an outline view, but it's not "integrated" with the main view. If there is a way to show both at once already, forgive my ignorance...
Reassigned to Bettina.
Not sure exactly what I had in mind here (it's been awhile), but in 1.9.84, the problem is that the outline view is one of the "main" (right-hand) views, instead of one of the "slides" (left-hand) views...I think the PPT way makes more sense, so the user can see an outline of all the slides in the "slides" view while still being able to edit each slide in the main view.
