Description Unknown 2002-03-07 16:08:53 UTC
When text length exceeds the cell boundry it continues over cells to the right
when Right Justfied formatting is applied. This is the normal expected
behavior when Left Justify is applied. At the very least the text should not
continue beyond the right hand cell boundry when Right Justify is applied.
However, it would be very useful to have Right Justified text overlap the other
way, to the left. My accounting users are saying this is a manditory feature
for producing reports (ie the Excel's been doing it since day one argument :-)).

Hi Jim,
it's double and already on the agenda.
Thanks, Peter

The issue this is being dupped to is "Multiple Text Alignment Issues".
That one is marked as "started" and indeed some things have
improved. But the description doesn't cover this problem.
IMHO This issue I described should stand on its own until
it gets fixed. Otherwise, why not dump the whole system and have one
issue
called "Fix all the problems in Open Office"?

Hi Jim,
it maybe called 'Multiple ...' but it describes just the same solitary
issue. I agree that your report comes to the essence much better but
it's still the same. We have the issue on our list anyway.
Regards, Peter
