Description aziem 2004-09-02 21:34:18 UTC
PROBLEM
When I create a fax using File->AutoPilot->Fax and include a logo, the logo does
not print.

REASON
The graphics printing is disabled. I can see this when I click
File->Print>Options and examine Graphics under the section Contents.

SOLUTION
The fax template/autopilot should enable this by default.

You should have this problem not ONLY with the fax-template. What about printing
graphics with an standard doc or AutoPilot/Letter-template?
Please see also the checkbox under Tools - Options... - Text Document - Print -
Graphics.

Now I am at home using 1.1.0 on Windows XP.

I opened a standard text document and checked File->Print->Options. Graphics
and several other options under Contents are checked.

I opened File->AutoPilot->Fax, and checked File->Print->Options. Graphics and
several other options under Contents are NOT checked.

I opened the business card wizard and created a document, and checked
File->Print->Options. Graphics and several other options under Contents are
checked.

I opened File->AutoPilot->Letter and created a document, and checked
File->Print->Options. Graphics and several other options under Contents are
checked.

So far it looks like just the fax.

I am looking at Tools->Options->Text Doc->Contents and graphics is checked (so
are tables, drawings, controls, and background).

HI->aziem: No one confirms your problem and I've no idea what could it be.
Please attach a sample to evaluate it.

fax.stw printed with PDFCreator (acts like printer)
Comment 7 aziem 2004-12-22 18:06:24 UTC
Attached fax.stw is created with AutoPilot.

When I use OOo Export to PDF function, the logo is included in the PDF. I did
not attach this.

When I use PDFCreator which acts like a printer, the logo is not included. This
PDF (fax.pdf) is attached. The PDF does not show the logo.

@PL: Very strange behavior.
Verified in OOo3.2.1 & Microsoft XPS Document Writer as printer.
- Load bugdoc and print
-> Graphic won't printed
- Call print dialog again an go to print options
- Enable Graphics at content and print again
-> This time the graphic will be printed but no text
Similar behavior also in 3.3RC8
Workaround is a pdf export
