Description drakkar 2004-09-01 19:29:42 UTC
[2 documents + 2 according crash trace / log files provided in 1 attachment]

IMPORTANT: might be similar to issue 30772 (but here with different files).

The main document: eri_url.doc is crashing oowriter while opening it
(at around 25% of loading, according to the progress bar).

This document is an MS-Word 9 document. It opens properly under MS-Word 2000,
where a copy was saved as MS-Word 6.0/95 type under the name eri_url2.doc.

That second document has the same issue (crashing at the loading time).
Other MS-Word documents can be imported/opened successfully.

Log files generated by a simple command line:
$ oowriter eri_url2.doc 2>&1 | tee eri_url2.doc.log

Other details (if ever needed)
GNU/Linux kernel: 2.6.3-15mdk
Distribution: Mandrake 10.0
RPM Package: official from Mandrake (OpenOffice.org-1.1.2-3.1.100mdk)

Duplicate to issue 30841.
OO 1.1.2 for Linux crashes when Word doc containing form controls is loaded into OO.
