Artwork is required for a Mozilla OpenOffice.org CD to be distributed from the Mozilla Store (http://www.mozillastore.com/products/software/). let see what we already have: - http://www.mozillastore.com/products/software/cdguidebook/viewlarge is the current design for Mozilla CD - http://marketing.openoffice.org/graphics/cd/ is what we offer now. the disc being sold from Mozilla Store probably will feature proeminently Mozilla, with OOo in a secondary place, so the base design will be provided by Mozilla (Firefox and Thunderbird logos i believe) where all the talk with Mozilla people is taking place? is a correspondent bug existing in their Bugzilla?

Ok. Here's the deal. Things we are responsible to do: 1. create an @openoffice.org joint marketing mailing list, primarily for this project at first. 2. on said list, our community is to take lead with artwork for said CD and case. 3. Once Firefox 1.0 comes out, we begin work on the ISO itself until it satisfies both Mozilla and OO.o. 4. Start selling OOo+Moz CD from Mozilla Store. Hopefully Louis will have the US-based not-for profit together in time to accept funds from this.-R
This is the issue for the Art Project to track the task of creating the artwork for the CD jewel case and labelling, only. Daniel has called for volunteers on the dev@distribution list. Coordination for the actual preparation of the CD needs to be followed up with the Distribution Project. Requests for project resources are made to the project leads. Apologies if you have sent one through to me or dev@marketing that I have missed.

I can't remember if the artwork for the DVD cover or CD was included with the HOW-TO (http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=23357)
As this discussion seems to be over for nearly two years, I'm closing this issue. If there is still any need for a CD/DVD case with a combined OOo and Mozilla design please ask for it on art@marketing.openoffice.org and/or reopen this issue.
