I have convert pdf file to doc with Acrobat 6. if I open this doc file with OO 
it show numbers (hex presentation of images ) instead images. 
for example it shown ffd8ffe000104a464946000102010... for jpeg and 
89504e470d0a1a0a0000000... for png images.

there are no problem if I open this doc file with MSWord

please look at the attached screenshot (very funny)

version should be 1.1.2 -> corrected, Platform, OS -> ALL

can confirm problem with OOo 1.1.2 and OOo 1.9m49 OOo cannot display the
graphics, instead it displays small parts of the image-data.

MS Word viewer opens the file and displays the graphics.

The file attached is not a doc, but a rtf -> changed summary (original summary:
"OO show numbers instead images in doc file converted from pdf with Acrobat")

yes you are right. Acrobat6 create rtf instead doc if choose in Save as.. 
"Microsoft .doc" file format. sorry i dont check it before send.

MRU->MM: In this 3rd party produced RTF the embedded graphics are shown as its
number codes. When saving this with Word, the import in OO looks good.

I've been sent an RTF file with an embedded image. Nothing gets displayed, no
numbers just a blank screen.  Using OO 1.1.2 on Linux.
