Description Unknown 2002-02-27 17:40:28 UTC
When I try to open these ( http://www.vendomar.ee/~ivo/febprice.xls &
http://www.vendomar.ee/~ivo/lucentprice.xls ) files with OpenOffice 641C, it
will freeze.

Hi Daniel,

the first document is an Excel 5.0/95 workbook and opens fine in
SO5.2. The second one is an Excel 97/2000/XP Workbook which causes
Excel2000 to warn about 'It's no longer possible to ad userdefined
formats'. This document also opens just fine in an SO5.2.

Both docs causes an loop in OOo641C and our latest internal build.

Problem with default row formatting (Excel ignores "Center across selection)
Comment 3 daniel.rentz 2002-04-16 12:54:30 UTC
Fixed to SRX642V / next OOo642
Comment 4 Unknown 2002-05-02 21:13:10 UTC
OOo 1.0 dess not have this fix or this fix is not working as it
should.
Comment 5 frank 2002-05-03 08:13:27 UTC
Hi Ivo,

sure it didn't make it's way into OOo1.0 as there was not enough time
to fix it for the 641 build on which OOo1.0 is based.

Daniel said he fixed it for OOo 642 build. As you can get this
version from the download page I have to close this Issue again.

Best regards

Frank

closed as fixed in OOo642
Comment 7 Unknown 2002-05-03 10:54:48 UTC
At least on my computer, OOo642 still has this problem.
Comment 8 daniel.rentz 2002-05-03 11:06:16 UTC
@ivo: Fixed in the -next- OOo642, not the current.
Maybe it's the overnext build, as
long as the bug is not verified, it keeps resolved (but not closed).

@fst: It was
wrong to close the bug, it's "only" resolved-fixed.
The OOo642 including this fix is
not yet built.

Sorry for being so fast. I've had to close some more Issues, so I've
overlooked that this one should be open.

Fixed and verified in OOo643c
Comment 15 Unknown 2003-02-09 09:55:28 UTC
But when someone may expect the fix to be incorporated to some
official release?
At least OOo ver. 1.0.2-1 from RedHat RawHide does not have it.
Comment 16 daniel.rentz 2003-02-10 07:37:37 UTC
It will be in the OOo1.1 Beta release (in the next weeks).
