Description walles 2002-02-25 11:52:51 UTC
When I try to import a printer "driver" into spadmin it looks for files with a
suffix of ".PS". As the PPD files that come with CUPS (www.cups.org) all have a
suffix of ".ppd", it would be nice if those were recognized as printer "drivers"
as well.

I am currently successfully using a CUPS PPD file for my OpenOffice printing, so
your .PS files and CUPS' .ppd files obviously contain the same data.

Hi Falko,
is this something for you?

Since we plan to integrate ourselves more tightly to existing
priniting systems under Unix (namely CUPS) this issue becomes obsolete.
That's why I put it on INVALID and cLOSED (there is currently no issue
to put it on duplicate to)
