Yes, the terminology is not completely consistent but this is unfortunately not
so easy to fix because it involves many files and therefore several developers
to fix. German is not a separately translated language and therefore subject to
the same resource handling as English.

I agree that consistency is a goal, so I'm accepting this issue and setting the
next possible target. Then I intend to banish all instances of "selektier*" in
the resource files in one go.

It would help me if you could identify where the texts you have discovered are.
Use the intuitive shorthand (for example: "blah blah selektieren" found under
Extras - Optionen - Textdokument") to note the UI path.

Please report the German text and UI path. This is a bug in the German version,
so the testing will go faster in this case if we quote the German UI text.
I can't say for sure which build this will be able to be corrected in, but at
least we can identify the locations.

Die in der Hilfe vorkommenden Formen von "selektiere" und "Selektion" dürften
relativ leicht ersetzbar sein, zumindest habe ich keine Stelle gefaunden, an der
nicht "wählen Sie aus" oder "Auswahl" verwendet werden könnten.

und: in der Hilfe (1.1.4 writer) gibt es sogar noch den Begriff "Selection
Clipboard" ;-)
