Description rogeraf 2004-07-12 04:15:48 UTC
I have just upgraded to OOo 1.1.2 from 1.0. When I attempt to open some MS Word documents the
OOo system returns the following error:

"An unexpected program error has occurred.

All modified files have been saved and can probably be recovered at program restart."

I can restart OOo and edit other documents, including some MS Word files.

I am able to open and edit other MSW files.

confirming on linux. crashes both OOo 1.1.2 (german) and 680m45. Opens fine in
Word-viewer.
Setting OS, Platform to ALL (not sure whether windows will crash as well)
Comment 3 lohmaier 2004-07-12 18:34:41 UTC
File opens with OOo 1.0.3 (linux)-> therefore setting regression keyword.
Comment 4 terryt 2004-07-13 08:51:47 UTC
I can confirm the reporter's problem with the attached document using OOo 1.1.2 on Mac
OS X, and that it is a regression from OOo 1.0.3 on Mac OS X, as well.

This does not happen on Windows, so I set platform back to Linux. OO 1.1.2 has
problems with Word documents containing form controls. See issue 30841. though
it is not explicitly stated in the description, it is the same problem as this here.
