when entering a query in the Query design (Design view) for Data source and then
testing the query by clicking on Run this query, you get a dialog saying "Query
to complex". this should probably have said "Query too complex"

hi,

to reproduce this. Execute the following sql string in the bibliography database
in native sql mode.

select max(ID) from biblio

Then an error messages appear where "Statement to complex" is displayed.

change target to 2.4 because issue will be fixed in OpenOffice.org 2.4

Actually it now says "Statement too complex" - even better.

Closing
