french spellcheck on article-apostrophe-noun combo not handled correctly
Last modified: 2013-02-24 20:34:18 UTC
My french spellcheck works fine for most things however I notice it doesn't handle things like "l'assemblée" or "d'envoie" correctly but does know the words "assemblée" and "envoie". Strangely "d'origine", "d'autres" and probably others are handled fine. I'm not sure how this is supposed to work but it's not good that lots of the expressions in my doc are identified as incorrect when they're not. I'm running ooffice 1.1.1 on the latest FC2.
Yes, it is the same with the typographically correct french apostrophe which is ’ (U+2019 RIGHT SINGLE QUOTATION MARK) and not ' (U+0027 APOSTROPHE). I'm running the latest OOo distro in Debian Sarge: Version: 1.1.1-3
In French, the apostrophe some word word combination is an value APOSTROPHE (U+0027). Others sign for replace the APOSTROPHE (U+0027) is not advisable.
Forget the last comment. In french, the apostrophe in some words combination is the value APOSTROPHE (U+0027). Others sign for replace the APOSTROPHE (U+0027) is not advisable.
