Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 30587
Printing from Formula Editor should take page format into account
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:54:45 UTC
If you write a lot of formulas/equations one below another so that the height of them is higher then the hight of paper they don't print correctly. It looks like formula editor doesn't use page and margin size information when printing. It should use this information and it should automatically break the long list of formulas into several pages as required.
looking at your description, you write 1 formula which is bigger as 1 page??? If I correctly understood, I don't think we'll implement that formulas can break on page break... But please, add a sample document.
Nope not one formula. Several short formulas one after another, each separated by newline command.
Ploease add a sample document and explain exactly what you expect and get printing this document
I don't see any option to attach a file.

Confirming the printing problem (text cut and begining outside of the upper page margin). Please have a look.
MRU->TL: It really looks quite awfully when printing the attached sample formula. The space for the formula code should be limited IMO; such as only half of the page and other space for formula illustration.
Is any work being done to fix this bug?
Well, as the target "OOo Later" indicates - No. Currently we are still working on OOo 2.0.0 tasks.
Seems to be another dup of http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi? id=21999. Resolving as such. Please transfer your votes to 21999. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 21999 ***
