Description osavill 2002-02-11 14:43:41 UTC
1) Make a couple of columns of text which spans several pages. Make the
fist row reconisable
e.g. :
Head1 Head2
a a
b b
.
.
.
2) Select all the text and use Insert --> Table to turn the columns into a
table.
3) Note that Head1 and Head2 are repeated on all subsequent pages.
4) Use the right mouse button context menu on the first row, i.e. the Head1
Head2 row which was taken to be the table header, and insert a row BEFORE
it.
5) Go to any other row in this, or any other table, select it and copy to
clipboard.
6) Paste it into the newly created row.

Results:
The newly created row dissappears !
The Pasted row now appears at the top of the second page.
Somewhere in the table the new row will be repeated twice, but not
necassarily consecutively.

7) Think to yourself "Hmmmm ! that didn't work" and try to repeat inserting
the row before the 1st (which should now really be the second)

Result:
OO crashes !

ES->AMA: I can reproduce it in a 642o. I have no stack for I don't
get a crash but a freeze.

I can reproduce the descripted bug, no crash but a freeze.
Comment 3 andreas.martens 2003-01-09 10:30:24 UTC
Daniel, I'm not sure if this is a layout problem or a problem during
the insertion in the table.
