I am running OpenOffice 641C on a SuSE 7.3 Professional system (German version) 

every time I do the following OpenOffice crashes with the following error message:

An unrecoverable error has occured.
All modified files have been saved and may be  reovered at program restart.

What I do is adding a jpg image to a word processor document and double click
the image.  The same happens when I click on the button in the toolbar showing
up for images, that says "Use the function to create or edit a multi-columned frame"

I also checked in the Menu: Tools/Options/View and turned the 3D OpenGL support off.

Anyone has a clue?
