Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 29883
Allow openfile to generalize non-texts....
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:35:17 UTC
When openning a text file that is a CSV allow the user just to specify - "Spreadsheet" document in the open file category. IE - If I am in oocalc and want to open a file called CSV I should just need to go to File->Open->SpreadSheet and office should determine that it is a CSV. I believe that this belongs in the UI because you could do the same for each of the programs.... (IE default is currently word, but if you could do the same with presentations...)
SBA: Reassigned to BH.
