Description simonbr 2004-05-28 13:23:34 UTC
I observed that OpenGL display of 3D objects does not work properly on two
different computers, one with a Matrox G400 and one with a nVidia TNT 64 video
card. On the PC with the Matrox card it can even crash the system.

Apparently, problems are quite often reported with this. If this is not a
problem in OpenOffice.org but many graphics card drivers cannot support it
properly, it is better to disable "use OpenGL" as the default.

If it is a problem with the OpenOffice.org interfacing to OpenGL after all,
then it would of course be preferable to fix that.
