Description Unknown 2002-01-22 20:24:18 UTC
All icons for shortcuts on the desktop changed to the same view (icon)
after rebooting the computer after OpenOffice 641C installation.
(PC does not crash, but it is very annoying.)
The text under the icons did not change.
I use Windows Nt 4.0 german (Service Pack 5) and tried several reboots.
I removed OpenOffice from Autostart Group but the error remains unchanged.
I tried to changed the symbol of the shortcut, which seemed to work,
but after clicking "OK" or "Apply" the Icon blinked but did not change.
I tried to use "actualize" from the context sensitive menu of the desktop
 ==> did not help.

But after deinstalling OpenOffice (with deleting all files) suddenly
all Icons reappeared in the correct Layout.

I wonder if someone else have this problem,
but i found no entry in the Isue Tracking System.

Thanks in advance

I can't reproduce this on my NT4 (ger) SP5. After installation and reboot all icons
have the right symbol. I haven't heard anything similar for OOo or
StarOffice.
Seems to be a problem on your machine.

Not reproducible.
