Description kelvine 2004-05-12 15:30:59 UTC
Hi,

I have just been retesting entering data into an MS Access memo field.

I find that I can't edit the data in the memo field.

Attached is a sample MS Access database
Set the database up as a data source using ODBC
Open Writer
Open the data source window
Select the NotesTable table
Delete the word 'is' in the Notes field which is a memo field
Press Enter

The change does not stick.

Enter a second record
Enter 2 for the KeyId
Enter Test for the Notes field and press Enter
Delete the second record

Now delete the word 'is' in the first record and press Enter
The word is now deleted okay.

Now close Writer clicking on the close button in the top right of the screen.

OpenOffice.org crashes.

Thanks

Kelvin

Comment 6 christoph.lukasiak 2004-06-21 15:28:55 UTC
CLU->kelvine: please mind the rule 'one bug per issue' and write a seperate bug
for the 'editing' part   thx

CLU->OJ: your turn
Comment 7 christoph.lukasiak 2004-06-22 09:42:54 UTC
after a second look:
7.0 (1.1) -> no crash
1.1.1 (pp2)  -> crash
7pp3 -> no crash
680m44-2 -> crash

=> no pp4 candidate, but main trunk (2.0)
