In Impress, while drawing a slide, choose Slide Show -> Effects.
The pop-up displays the possible effects for the objects on the slide.
The pop-up always starts on the "Favorites" selection. However, I have not been
able to find a way to put _my_ favorites here. Did I miss something? Does OOo
miss something?

hmm, i think "favourites" here are not "favourites" as "personal bookmarks" but
as "what users prefer in most cases". Consequently it seems Impress is lacking
"Personal Bookmark" - support for slide effects.

On a related issue, it would be very nice if such an effect could be stored as
part of the presentation template.

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".
