Description fkater 2004-04-25 15:23:20 UTC
Hi,

enter two values in two cells in a row. Hold down ctrl. Select the little black
square with the mouse and drag ist downwards. -> Only the right cell is
displayed to be expanded, not the left one.

This is a display error only. The copy mechanism is ok.

(If you however expand the range downwards and press ctrl *after* expansion (but
before the mouse button is released) than the correct range is shown.)

pardon my ignoreance, but unfortunately i don't understand what the problem is
here, because if you select the little square, which is connected only to the
right cell, it sounds logical to me, that consequently only the right column
will be expanded.

Maybe I didn't express myself enough:

The problem does not occour if you select just one cell. Enter two values,
select *both*, and then click to the little black square to expand both downwards...

The problem is obvious if you compare what happens if you press ctrl *before* or
*after* the mouse click. Test it. There shouldn't be a visual differance between
these two ways if there is no funcional one.

Further: This misbehaviour gets worse if you do the following: Select again two
cells. Hold down ctrl now. Then click to the little black square to expand the
two-cell-range. Drag it two cells down, then drag to the left: You'll notice
that now you even don't know where you are because the dragged selection window
is not following the mouse pointer to the left but only downwards.

Hi Niklas,

one for you I think. Holding CTRL should act unique and not as it is now.
