Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 2806
Crash when deleting link to a graphic which was not found
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:43:39 UTC
Problem: Open a Word document. It has in the header a link to a graphic (.bmp , not found). Click on the frame/graphic and hit 'delete' - OO crashes. SO 5.2 did the same by the way, so the problem seems not to be too new. Example file can be submitted on request. Cheers Axel
Created attachment 923 [details] this is the file that casuses the problem
Reassigned to Michael.
MRU->AMA: Looks like a problem in the layout... the debug also says ":-(kein Inhalt vorbereitet", then it crashes.
No it is a problem of the MS import, it set the anchor to a invalid position. Fix is in source/filter/ww8/ww8graf2.cxx - rev 1.17.
Seems that the problem is back in 1.0.3 - same file causes the crash again
JA: tested the document in StarOffice 6.0 PP3: not reproducible. MRU should test this in OOo 1.03 and if the crash is reproducible then he should set the target to 1.04. Reassigning to MRU
MRU->CMC: Could you please have a look which branch the fix went into? I think there's still a problem. After import in 645, the graphic is not in the header anymore. Thank you!
Re-targeted to OO 1.1.
Add.: I can reproduce the crash in 1.0.3, but not in OO 1.1 Beta2 anymore.
Not a filter bug in SRX645, the headers/footers are now new autoshrink spacing ones since SRC641. Inside the header press return and *pow* the graphic appears. The header/footer code is only considering lines of text to determine its size not graphics :-(. This is the same as legacy tracker bug #104923#.
Crash fixed for OO 1.1 Beta2. Remaining problem is a layout issue, which will be improved for OO 2.0.
Closed.
