Description sambo57u 2004-04-07 15:56:51 UTC
I have a one page test presentation with two simple formulas. In my system they
translate horribly, this seems to have been a bit better in the past. I am attaching
two images, one with page loaded without conversion to oo and one with.

confirming.
I don't get the same output, but can confirm a problem
for some reason, OOo adds the character U+EF02 (which on my system results in a
square being displayed)

I don't know why a character of the private area is inserted (but I don't have
powerpoint, so I cannot tell what should be there instead)

Comment 6 sambo57u 2004-04-08 15:15:00 UTC
Yes. I used to get those boxes in the past too. That is just a result of what font is being
used and what character is defined for that code.

Need to have a closer look in this to see if it can be fixed.
