Hello 
 
The issue number 18221 regarding KDE associations is solved, great ! 
 
But ... I think there is still a little mistake : 
 
the math.desktop is associated with the writer mimetype 
(application/vnd.sun.xml.writer) 
 
And the math mimetype isn't associated with any desktop file. It should be 
associated with the math.desktop file I think. 
 
Results : KDE propose writer AND MATH to open a writer file, and KDE don't 
know the right application to open math file. 
 
I think the solution is just to replace the writer mimetype 
(application/vnd.sun.xml.writer) by the math mimetype 
(application/vnd.sun.xml.writer.math) in the math.desktop file.

ko @ obr: Additional information: Clicking on a sxw document in konqueror brings
up a blinking icon while loading document. It's not a sxw icon but a math icon.
