Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 27080
sqlite query designer calculation treated as text
Last modified: 2004-04-15 07:31:27 UTC
Hi, Using SQLite as a data source with the ODBC driver, I create a column which multiplies a column which contains a number by 2. The result in the query looks fine. When the query is dragged onto the spreadsheet all the columns are correct except the calculated column. This column becomes a text column with the single quote before the number. It could be something that I am doing wrong as I just started experimenting with sqlite. I just thought I should let you know. Issue 27072 contains an sqlite file should you wish to test this. Kevlin
Hi Marc, as discussed please have a look at this one too. It's related to Issue 27072. Frank
Hi, I can't use sqllite anyway, because it crash all the time. So I onyl can test this if issue 27099 is fixed. Bye Marc
Hi, I have just retested this with the new ODBC driver as announced in the dba list by Alex Thurgood. This problem no longer exists for me. Please close. By the way the ability to change the status for an issue by the originator appears to have been removed. Is there still a way for me to indicate the issue can be closed. I previously used to add WORKSFORME when an issue had been fixed as a result of say a new release. Kelvin
Hi, so I close this one as WFM. Regarding the changing of Issues by the reporter, please use the query functionality, as far as I remember an Issue regarding such problems exist. Frank
