Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 26668
Corrupted PDF export with MS PMincho (ttc font)
Last modified: 2004-05-12 11:23:28 UTC
SBA-HDU: As discussed: The Font MS PMincho in a document creates a corrupt PDF file. Target approved by TZ. In order to get this fix into OOo 1.1.2, I cloned issue 26424 (that has OOo 2.0 as target and is already fixed in another CWS).
Fixed using the same change as in issue 26424.
CWS vcl7pp1r3 has the fix mentioned above. For testing instructions see issue 26424.
HDU->HI: please verify on CWS vclpp3bugs
cws:vclpp3bugs (645m33_8753) Verified on windows-XP with the install- and patch-set = fixed.
Set to Verified.
Tora-HDU: May I clone this issue for 1.1.1? I would like to to provide some Japanese builders with a patch file that I have just made following your instructions and quickly verified it on Solairs.
For Japanese local build, I duplicated this issue as issue 27272. For 2.0, see issue 26424 For 1.1.2, see issue 26668 For 1.1.1, see issue 27272
Downloaded 1.1.2rc and found this annoying regression still persists. Fix has not been checked in for upcoming 1.1.2? Get back to 1.1.0... Tested on Windows XP Home SP1 (Japanese) w/ Acrobat Reader 6.01 (Japanese) using attachment files on http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=26424
JA->Tuomo: you installed too early. This issue got the status verified based on version srx645m38 but the version you installed is srx645m37. So please stay tuned...
Tuomo->JA: Thanks for clarifying the situation. I expect that the next release candidate of 1.1.2 will fix this issue.
1.1.2rc2 successfully exports files containing MS PMincho font to PDF, as I've confirmed. :-) Looking forward to the arrival of the final release and its corresponding Japanese localized build.
