Description Frank Schönheit 2004-03-16 12:06:16 UTC
for an arbitrary table in an arbitrary database, containing at least one text
column:
- create a simple form with two controls, one of them a text field
- bind the text field to the text column in the table
- switch the "Multiline" property of the text field to "Yes"
- bind the other control to an arbitrary field of the table
- switch off the design mode so that the form gets loaded
- focus the control which is *not* bound to the text column
- using the respective slot in the form navigation toolbox, travel through the
records
=> as soon as the text in the multi line field changes between two records, this
control is focused

This contradicts the behavior of all other control types, and it is very
annoying when you want to work with the form

the attached bugdoc contains a simple form working with the pre-installed
Bibliography database, to easier reproduce the problem.

reopen because it doesn't work in master.
Comment 9 marc.neumann 2004-05-25 07:49:47 UTC
reassign to fs.
Doesn't work in src680 m39
Comment 10 Frank Schönheit 2004-06-21 14:09:26 UTC
fixed in CWS dba13.
This was an unfortunate conincidence: The fix for this bug and the new
implementation for the RichTextControl were integrated (quasi) in parallel, and
the latter broke the fix for the former.

reopening for re-assign to QA
