3 of 4 fairly complex presentations are causing Impress to crash after 
importing them. 
 
In each case the presentations were saved in slide sorter view in PowerPoint 
2000. 
 
Impress finishes the import then crashes while displaying the thumbnails of 
the slides. 
 
Saving the presentation again in normal view in PowerPoint 2000 allowed 
Impress to open it without crashing. 
 
Changing the view in Impress to the slide sorter caused another crash.

I think this issue  is duplicate to issue 24399.
If you attach the documents I can test if this bug is realy duplicate or not.

I can reproduce the bug in the version you mentioned.
I can load the file in the OOo1.1.1rc.
I change the resolution to fixed.

I close the issue as fixed.
Please reopen the issue if you still can reproduce the bug.
