Hi!
Run setup as user, choose [Repair]. At the stage of [Restoring
components]/[Registering the components]/[Verifying local settings]/[....>>>...]
a transient window informs you about "The 'lib[*].so' component was unable to be
registered." Now you can choose either [Retry] or [Ignore]. There is also a
[Cancel] button, but it acts just like [Ignore]. As there are many such
'lib*.so' components, you have to walk through a long chain of pop-up windows.
Well, there is no way to abort the whole setup/repair procedure, it is quite
annoying. I guess the [Cancel] button should be used to provide this function.
Bye!

I've tried with OOo 1.1.0 and 1.1.1. I've got no such messages. But the
behaviour isn't new to 1.1.x. It's the same with 1.0.x. So there is no need to
change this in the 1.1.x version: it's no regression from an earlier version.
The upcomming OOo version 2.0 will say goodby to setup. This version will be
based on the nativ install tools of the OS.

Normally these error messages aren't displayed.
