Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 26039
Undo stack problem
Last modified: 2008-12-22 12:27:01 UTC
When I am within a cell, writing something into it, and then I use the context menu to "add a row" (while still being in the cell) the row will be correctly added below my currents cell row. When I now do an "undo", the text from my cell will be undone. Normaly I would assume that the row I added will be undone. This behaviour breaks the undo/redo stack behaviour. As solution the currently edited cell should automagically accepted like when I did it by hand. This will let the undo/redo stack order untouched. Might be usefull to reenter the cell after adding the row - that depends on taste.
Hi, this can be seen as a defect or as an enhancement request. We prefer the later one as the cell in edit mode is still the higher prioritised function. The solution should be that the edit mode of the cell should be ended if you insert a new row. So Bettina please decide how to go on. Frank
