Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 25779
Add Cell Background Color Option to Conditional Formatting
Last modified: 2004-02-23 10:46:26 UTC
The "Conditional Formatting" in the spreadsheet application doesn't allow you to choose the cell background color as an option. This would be nice so that you could specify the "=MOD(ROW(),2)" condition and then choose a color other than the default white. That way you could get alternating row colors in Open Office which improves readability when you print out your spreadsheet.
Hi, as the conditional formatting in calc is working with cell styles, you have just to add a new cell style in the stylist (F11) and assign it. Frank
