soffice seg faults when the k task bar is on the left hand side of the screen. 
Move the task bar back to the default bottom position, or the right hand side 
and soffice starts fine.

That was memory corruption and is fixed in HEAD. Corresponding 
patches for OO641C are already submitted by Kevin Hendricks.
