Description rrandall 2004-02-20 07:52:27 UTC
Similar to the previously reported problem with tables not breaking across pages
(in Writer), this enhancement still does not appear to be functioning properly.
The problem appears when the number of character returns entered into a single
cell (row) exceed the length of the page. At that point the characters simply
start falling off the end of the page rather than resuming on the following page
(in a new table row). Strictly speaking, tables within Writer still can't split
cells with multiple character returns as MS Word 97 does. This is critical for
users who use tables to create borders surrounding text data extending over
multiple pages.

So why do you expect an issue that is scheduled for OOo 2.0 to be fixed in OOo
1.1.1?

-> duplicate.
