Description johnbrookman 2004-02-11 11:14:47 UTC
When importing a document created in MS Word, with AUTONUMLGL fields OO
displays a simple incrementing value rather than a number which follows the
heading levels eg "1.1.1." as para 1 under heading level 2 will show as "3" in
OO document.

Microsoft Word 2000 (9.0.6926 SP-3)
Open Office 1.1.0

Comment 3 michael.ruess 2004-02-12 09:19:50 UTC
Writer does not support a legal numbering fields.

MRU->FL: perhaps this is another spot for enhancement of numberings...
Comment 4 frank.loehmann 2004-02-12 10:15:42 UTC
FL->HB: We already have this on the list in the numbering spec part 2 (status of
this doc is early draft;
http://specs.openoffice.org/writer/numbering/NumberingBullet2.sxw)

Since you are working on implementation of part 1: Do you need to prepare this
in the new numbering core. If yes, we have to move this to part 1 of the spec.
Furthermore is the AUTONUMLGL field a current one or only kept for compatibility
in MS Word? I have only seen the ListNum for those purposes.

Because of a shortage of resources we have to retarget this issue to OOo later.
