Description drc 2004-02-11 11:04:49 UTC
In toolbars:

quote:
Main Toolbar
The Main Toolbar is located at the left edge of the program window. This
dockable toolbar contains frequently used editing tools. Toolbar icons with a
small green arrow indicate a floating toolbar. Long-click the icon to open a
floating toolbar that contains additional commands.
endquote

Both 'dockable' and 'floating toolbar' are active links, but only 'floating
toolbar' has a working popup; 'dockable' is dead.

DED -> UFI The "dockable" link in the "Main Toolbar" paragraph is broken. You
can find the problem link in:
text/swriter/main0200
Comment 2 Uwe Fischer 2004-02-19 09:26:17 UTC
pls check file swriter/main0218. The link in the current source file is OK. The
targets in the xml files also. The "dockable" link is broken, while the next
"floating toolbar" link works OK. Both are constructed the same way.

FPE: main0218 links (popup) to shared/00/00000005#andocken.
In the last file, the anchor target "andocken" is missing so
nothing is displayed.
The anchor target needs eventually to be reintroduced.
Comment 4 Uwe Fischer 2004-02-19 10:07:04 UTC
I find the text <a name="andocken"/> in line 189 of common/00/00000005.xml
This worked as a target for previous version of the help. Is it broken in SO7 /
OOo2.0 ?
I'm a bit puzzled because I cannot find the same type of link for <a
name="abreissleiste"/> in common/00/00000001.xml, although that is the next link
in main0218 that *does* work.
Comment 5 frank.thomas.peters 2004-02-19 10:27:35 UTC
FPE: For the popup to work you need an enclosing
<help:to-popup id="...">
...
</help:to-popup>

I don't have the source files at hand, I looked it
up in the xml files.
The <a> may work as a target for jumping but
not for popping up because a popup displays everything that is enclosed by
the corresponding tag. In this case, the tag encloses nothing (it is missing),
so nothing is displayed.

Lets address that in the new files.
Comment 6 Uwe Fischer 2004-02-19 10:37:30 UTC
In the source file text\common\00\00000005 there are several <a name=> tagged
paragraphs that are not enclosed by popup tags. I will add all those popup tags
also.
Comment 7 Uwe Fischer 2004-04-20 12:02:11 UTC
missing section name "andocken" inserted to shared/00/00000005.xml.
There are no more popup windows in the Help.
