French phone numbers have the following format : 01 23 45 67 89 
 
When you personalize a format for French phone numbers you have to enter : 0#" "##" "##" 
"##" "## 
 
The problem is when you save and reopen, the format becomes : #" "##" "##" "##" "#0 
and the phone number is displayed : 1 23 45 67 89 
missing the first 0

Hi,

this is  not a bug but a missunderstanding of the format codes.

# will displayes all numbers except leading zeros.
0 will display all numbers *and* leading zeros.

So your format code should be 00" "00" "00" "00" "00

Closing invalid. Feel free to reopen this Issue if the solution provided does
not apply correctly.
