It seems that OOo-Writer 1.1 (-SuSE 9.0) cannot have word-by-word underline 
(nor word-by-word crossing out) 
 
The character format dialog let you choose word-by-word but the underline 
still includes the spaces. 
 
The problem happens too when trying to loading a sxw file having word-by-word 
underline (fo:score-spaces="false") or while loading a RTF file having the 
\ulw keyword (for example: 
http://www.abisource.com/lxr/source/abi/test/wp/rtftest.rtf?raw=1 ) 
 
I am sorry if this issue is a duplicate (I did not found any similar issue) or 
if the bug is special to SuSE 9.0.

problem only occurs when nonprinting chars are turned on.
