Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 25148
pdf export: index formatting
Last modified: 2004-02-10 15:16:32 UTC
OOo Writer German I wanted to export a sxw-File to pdf, but with the "direct export" there was a problem with the table of contents. The "filling dots" and the page numbers were printed above each other. Tried with Acrobat Distiller it worked fine, the same (it worked fine) with the OOo pdf-export and the setting "Druckvorstufe" (whatever that might be in English, anyway, the third option in the export dialogue). I have attached the two files, the sxw and the "wrong" pdf. Bye, Fabian
Created attachment 12924 [details] file to be exported
Created attachment 12925 [details] export-File with the problem
forgot: same problem acc. to mailing list also for Win XP and 645m19(Build8693) Fabian
I can confirm with OOo 1.1.0 german on WinXP. This seems to be related to the fonts used (works well with Arial). Note that the bug my alreay be fixed in currend 1.1.1 code, as ist seems like Issue 17098. But I don't have 1.1.1 yet
cp->hdu: I think this is duplicate to the stuff with the wrong character placement when using glyph substitution.
HDU->AS:: Yes, this looks like the incorrect rounding in PDF export from issue 17098 which got fixed in CWS vcl7pp1r2 for target OOo 1.1.1. The fix there was integrated into current SRX645 or SRC680 and I cannot reproduce it there. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 17098 ***
HDU->HI: please verify on a recent build.
Verified with current OOo 1.1.1 = ok *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 17098 ***
Please do not reopen issues with the Target OOo 1.1.1 In case you find the same problem in a newer version, so open a new task with regarding to the closed one.
