Description iyt 2004-01-27 16:01:53 UTC
When importing table files (.txt or .xls) into a spreadsheet,
after choosing the file to import,
the Preview Window in the bottom of the Table Import Dialog,
just 1 narrow column is displayed.

The result is fine,
but to see if the checked separator has the correct effect,
this is uncomfortable.

Hi,

I need to know your Linux distribution and a file showing your problem on import
would make it also easier. So please attach such a file to this Issue.

Thanks

Frank

Hi,

I'm sorry to tell you that we are nod able to reproduce this behaviour. We have
had an Issue like yours for a OOo1.1Beta but this is fixed for the final.

Maybe you have some problems with the installed fonts. Maybe the Font FAQ helps :

http://www.openoffice.org/FAQs/fontguide.html

Best regards

Frank

No Comment from user, so I assume it was a problem with the font installation.

Hi,

The Problem still exists.
I submitted an issue in the German-Section.
Perhaps it only exists in the German Version.

No reaction from the German-Section so far.

Thanks.

Hi,

I've checked it again, this time using the currently available OOo1.1.1rc. What
should I say, it works as expected. So please try OOo1.1.1rc.
