Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 24770
"Screen" page/paper size doesn't scale with actual screen size
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:41:13 UTC
When I select "Screen" as the page size for a presentation, I always get a size of 11.02"x8.27". This should vary with the actual screen size. (xdpyinfo tells you this in X, and you can set it with XFree86 in XF86Config using the DisplaySize parameter to the monitor config) I don't know much about the internals of Openoffice, but this paper size seems to be the same size set in svx/inc/paperinf.hxx, and so I'm guessing that it really is hardcoded and not a misconfiguration on my part.

I think this is not a bug but an engancement. Please have a look.
