Description bryancole 2004-01-22 13:08:55 UTC
For aligning objects using the grid or snap-lines (or other objects), it would
be very useful if objects had snap-points at the object center and/or the middle
of lines.

At the moment, there is no easy way to place a bunch of objects along a
snap-line with the object centers snapped to the line.

One way to approach this would be to use all 'glue points' on an object as
snap-points. Then the user could add arbitrary snap-points (i.e. add glue-points).

Reassigned to Bettina.

I second it. If you want to draw a flow chart, the centers/glue points should
be considered for snapping.

Yeah, I second this. If you're trying to use oodraw2 to create something like a
flowchart, aligning the various items is pretty difficult unless all your boxes
are the exact same size, which won't always be the case.
