Description cklester 2004-01-22 03:49:06 UTC
In the File Open dialog box, there needs to be a "Favorites" folder item in the
left-most button column (where now "History," "Desktop," "My Computer," and "My
Network Places" now exist). This is a standard button in a File Open dialog box
in Windows 2000/XP (and beyond?).

SBA: This is already implemented. By default, the windows system dialogs are
used, so there is no "Favorite" button.
To use the OpenOffice.org dialog (that is the only one on Linux), do this:
(via menu) Tools-Options-OpenOffice.org-General - check "Use OpenOffice.org dialogs"

To change your favorite directory, do this:
(via menu) Tools-Options-OpenOffice.org-Paths - in this dialog, select the entry
"My Documents", click Edit, browse to another directory and click OK

Set to invalid.
