Description michael.ruess 2004-01-21 12:29:04 UTC
open attached file -> the bullet symbols are wrong, when even the wingding and
starsymbol font are not available on the system. With StarSymbol available, the
bullets are displayed correctly.
Comment 1 michael.ruess 2004-01-21 12:34:49 UTC

IH: we can not have the symbols of Wingdings in the OpenSymbol font. Those
symbols have copyrights from AGFA Monotype. They are in StarSymbol because the
StarSymbol font is also made by AGFA Monotype. We are not allowed to use them in
OpenSymbol - this is a very common problem of many symbol we would like to have
in OpenSymbol. I can not do anything here - I will not violate any copyrights!
Comment 4 greenmoss 2004-01-21 13:54:40 UTC
Why don't you make something that looks *similar* to the missing symbol for
OpenSymbol? Certainly making something similar but not identical would violate
no copyrights but would fix this problem?
Comment 5 michael.ruess 2004-01-21 16:47:10 UTC
Not fixable, would lead to to copyright violation.
