Description gpolitis 2004-01-12 01:45:57 UTC
I have OpenOffice.org 1.1.0 on Windows 2000. Undo does not correctly fix
change to a connector.

1. draw a box
2. draw another box beneath
3. join with a connector from right side of first box to right side of second
box
4. stretch out connector by dragging square handle
5. undo

connector no longer joins second box.

This works ok on version 1.0.2 running on Linux.
(Don't know what version of Linux.)

See also issue 5006, which claims it was fixed on 1.0.

Reproducible. Reassigned to Christian. Please have a look.

armin, I can reproduce this issue under windows with recent src680 build, please
have a look
Comment 3 Armin Le Grand 2004-02-03 16:51:54 UTC
AW->WG: Cannot reproduce anymore in src680 m20.
Comment 4 wolframgarten 2004-02-04 07:35:13 UTC
This is still reproducible in current version src680m23.
Comment 5 Armin Le Grand 2004-02-06 15:11:10 UTC
AW: Okay, now i can reproduce it. I did not get the point that i need to drag at
the quadratic handle.
Good news is: After the UNDO, the connection is still there, even when not
shown. So it seems that just the refresh of the connector object is wrong. Itis
is one more candidate for the planned handle refreshes.
AW: Setting to P4, just a displaying ugliness.
AW: To get the correct display back, move one of the objects slightly. You can
then undo that small move again using UNDO (that works).

Using 3.4.1, I'm experiencing the same issue, except moving the box does not cause the connector to reappear.

In a new draw file, draw four boxes, one at each corner of the page.

Draw a connector between the box in the upper-left corner and the box in the upper-right corner.

Drag the right end of the connector down to the box on the bottom-right of the screen (so the connector now runs from the top-left box to the bottom-right box).

Edit->Undo (so the connector now runs from the top-left to the top-right boxes again)

Drag the left end of the connector down to the box on the bottom-left of the screen (so the connector SHOULD now run from bottom-left box to the top-right box).

Observe how the connector jumps and is now running from the bottom-left box to the bottom-right box.

Moving any of the boxes does not cause the connector to return to its proper position (bottom-left box to the top-right box).
